The 24/25 members intake of Singapore National Youth Chinese Orchestra (SNYCO) presents their first concert of the year with guest conductor Liu Chiang-Pin. Under his baton and curation, the National Project of Excellence orchestra presents a line-up of repertoire from renowned composers. Talented SNYCO members Yu Haotian will be performing the liuqin concerto Melody on a Moonlit River and Khor Yee Sing will be performing the dizi concerto Love for the Eagle. Don’t miss the picturesque and scenic Taiwan in Capriccio Taiwan or the heroic story of Shadi’er from Xinjiang in The Legend of Shadi’er.

The SNYCO and SCO combined concert is an annual concert that both orchestras look forward to each year. SNYCO erhu I associate principal, Li Yichen will perform the erhu concerto The Sun Shines on Tashkurghan with SCO, while zhongruan concerto The River Runs Red will be performed by SNYCO member, Chong Shao Yih.
